charm of pieniny

Living nearby, I return to Pieniny with my clients very often, and sometimes even several times a week during the summer season. This place attracts with its magic. The views that the Pieniny Mountains offer are unique. An additional advantage is that, unlike other popular destinations, here you will not be met by a crowd of tourists at every turn.

Deciding on a session in the Pieniny Mountains, we will probably meet in the Szczawnica area. I am happiest photographing in Maly Pieniny, especially in the area of the picturesque Homole Gorge in Jaworki. This location offers a variety of scenery – from waterfalls to forests to beautiful mountain views. I get the best results just before sunset, when the sun’s rays create a magical aura around the people being photographed.

Why choose Pieniny?

Pieniny is a place that delights regardless of the season. Spring, summer and autumn green landscapes, however, are my favorites. Unlike the popular Tatra trails, here you will not meet crowds of tourists. I know of many hidden corners that are perfect for photo shoots, and at the end of the day, when the sun goes down, most tourists are already enjoying the beauty of the surrounding areas.

Comfort first and foremost! Whatever outfits you choose, remember to wear comfortable shoes. Mountain trails can be surprising. Get ready! Although the trails are not difficult, it is a good idea to bring a bottle of water and something light to eat.
