The time has finally come when I can show you photographs taken last year. I brag about them not only to you, but also to myself. These frames are the emotions not only of the people photographed, but also of myself. They are the adventures I have experienced together with my “clients”. I will tell you frankly that there was not a couple this year with whom I did not establish a smaller or larger thread of understanding, which is why I put the word “clients” in quotation marks. To be clear, it’s not that each of my couples has become my closest friends, but the word “client” strongly doesn’t fit when the people for whom I’m doing the commission write me such an email, and right after the wedding:

Adam, what you did for us yesterday was pure magic. Thank you so much for your presence and hard work. It was great to be able to meet you! Your name was pronounced by all cases at several Christmas tables in Mazury and Kujava. And the song “Adaś is cool, heck, Adaś is cool” resonated on the PKP all the way from Podhale to Mazury. Hope you had a wonderful, family-oriented and peaceful Christmas, and a wonderful New Year ahead of you, full of only good adventures and sunny moments!
Thank you, Noemi and Luke

Experts on the famous work-life balance will probably tell you that you shouldn’t fawn over your “clients,” but I always talk about them, meaning you – my couples. MY is the key word. Well, yes, I have already found myself in such a place in my professional life where MY people come to me. MY compatriots. People with whom I broadcast on the same wavelength. And broadcasting with someone on the same wave makes me feel free in what I do. I have the audacity to photograph YOUR day in MY own way. I see your wedding, your reception through my eyes. Thank you for the trust you place in me, this post is a thank you for allowing me to tell your story in my own way 🙂

It got serious and touchy, so I’ll try to break it down with a few facts 🙂

  • In 2024, I took so many photos that if they were printed in 10x15cm format and arranged one after the other, they would be as long as 366 football fields arranged in a line.
  • In pursuit of the perfect frame, I shot enough miles in 2024 to make it to Australia and back!
  • To survive all the weddings and outdoor sessions in 2024, I drank enough coffee to fill a large tub with it, and I have bigger biceps in my right hand than in my left from pressing the aeropress 🙂
  • For the first time in my life, at a wedding, I ate delicious pizza!
  • I experienced more than a dozen sunrises during the summer
  • I wiped down 2 pairs of shoes for work
  • During my work, I met about 3,000 people

Development 2024

The year 2024 has brought many good things in my professional life in terms of development. Admittedly, I’m a lousy businessman, I don’t quite know how to continuously increase revenue. I don’t scale the business properly, although I have received more than one training in this field 🙂 and I constantly buy some equipment, which then lies in the closet. However, development is not only about money. I feel that I have developed photographically, although I certainly still have a lot of work ahead of me. I’ve also developed mentally – I’m starting to appreciate my own skills and “efficient eye”. I simply like the photos I take more and more. And this was not always so obvious. I guess it has happened to every creative person to be overly critical of their work.

Klaudia once wrote me such an opinion:

Adam – a master of detail and creativity, as well as capturing moments and emotions. Full professionalism both in terms of workshop and approach to the client. His positive and open manner made us feel comfortable and natural in front of the lens, despite the lack of previous familiarity with the camera. The final result in the form of a gallery from the wedding reportage, as well as the outdoor session, exceeded both our and our guests’ wildest expectations. We could not have hit it better! We recommend it to everyone.

And it is this understanding. This complete freedom in how I show your day, no restrictions, makes you feel comfortable and natural in front of my lens 🙂

A small but significant proof for me that I have grown as a person and as a photographer, and that my work is valuable, was a podcast recorded with Szymon Kasolik, in which I had the great pleasure of being a guest. We talked about photography, life, the cult of work, complaining among photographers and many other interesting topics. Sitting down to write this text, I was going to write, as I do every year, a few sentences about what beautiful weddings I photographed, add some keywords to make Google like me. I was going to write that I still have some free dates in 2025, but unfortunately there are very few left :). I also wanted to encourage you to look at the offer for 2026, but the end of the text turned out to be less business and more from the heart! I guess I’m getting old :). And as proof I’ll mention my last blog post – A love story in 3 acts. The text for those photographs was also lightly written for me like this one. During this session, I have ventured out photographically like never before, so I encourage you to see it 🙂

Finishing. Have a look at the photos summarizing this fantastic 2024. I worked hard to select and arrange them 🙂 And for those who are curious – at the very bottom I’m posting a slideshow with all the photos I selected during the first selection. Some of them, unfortunately, did not have a chance to appear in this post, but I still like them a lot 🙂
