Outdoor session in the Tatra Mountains – safe, conscious and stress-free
A photo shoot in the mountains is all about good decisions: choosing the location, the time and a realistic assessment of the conditions.
A session in the mountains is not improvisation – it is a conscious choice of location, time of day and real possibilities. That’s why I only work in safe, proven locations.
For years I have been doing outdoor sessions in and around the Tatra Mountains – both in ideal conditions and in the changing mountain weather. My job is not just to take pictures, but to guide you through the whole process so that the session makes sense, is safe and ends with a good result.
I work in proven locations that I know and where I know what to expect. I don’t take couples to high mountains and I don’t act as a guide – safety is always a priority.
Below you will find three outdoor session packages – they differ in the scope of my responsibility, availability of locations and flexibility in case of changing weather. Thus, you can choose exactly the option that fits your trip and expectations.
Package 1: View
This package is a quiet session with a mountain backdrop, shot outside the Tatra National Park.

- Pass over Łapszanka
- Viewpoint in Zdiara (Slovakia)
- Viewpoint in Zba
- Viewpoint in Zakopane
Package 2: Tatra
A package for couples who want a session in the Tatra Mountains themselves, within the Tatra National Park.
- Session at one location in TPN
- Flexible choice of location and time on the day of the session
- Plan A / B depending on conditions
- Possibility to carry out sessions in variable weather (if the couple chooses)
- Parking costs on my side
- 2-3 photos shipped by next business day
- 50-100 photos in author’s processing
For whom?
For couples who want a session in the Tatra Mountains and expect the photographer to take over decisions on the day of the shoot.
In this package, I usually perform the session at one of the following locations:
- Rusinowa Polana
- Kasprowy Wierch
- Kalatówki Glade
- Hala Gąsienicowa and Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy.
Package 3: Flexible
The most flexible option, designed for couples with a short stay in the mountains.

In this package, I perform the session at any selected location listed in other packages.
Package no. 1 – Session with a view of the Tatra Mountains
This is a session for couples who want a mountain backdrop without the high altitude challenges. We work in proven, easily accessible locations that are accessible by car. The entire session lasts about two hours and takes place at a relaxed, comfortable pace.
After the session, you will receive 50-100 full-resolution photos, shared in a private online gallery.
PRICE – 1500PLN
This package is for couples who:
- want a quiet outdoor session with a view of the mountains
- do not plan to hold sessions in the Tatra National Park
- have flexibility and target favorable weather conditions
The session is carried out outside the Tatra National Park, in proven and easily accessible locations, such as:
- Lapszanka
- Ždiar
- Viewpoint in Zba
These are places with a wide view of the Tatra Mountains, which allow the session to be carried out quietly without long approaches and without the risks associated with high mountain conditions.
What the package includes:
- Outdoor session in one location of your choice
- Downloadable online gallery
- Assistance in selecting the time for light and conditions
- From 50 to 100 photos subjected to author’s processing
Implementation conditions:
The session is carried out under favorable weather conditions.
In the event of heavy rain, very poor visibility or conditions that prevent the session from being conducted safely, the session will be canceled.
This package assumes that the session will be carried out on a fixed date and location – with no flexibility for inclement weather.
Important information:
I carry out sessions mainly on weekdays (Monday-Friday).
The implementation of the session on the weekend is possible by prior arrangement of a free date.
Package no. 2 – Session in the Tatra National Park
This is for couples who want a session in the Tatra Mountains themselves, in more challenging terrain, but at the same time expect the session to happen despite the changing conditions.
This package involves more flexibility and my active involvement in conducting the session on the day of the shoot.
The session is carried out in the area of the Tatra National Park, in places that I know well and where I regularly work. I have all the required permissions to photograph in the TPN area.
PRICE – 2500zł
This package is for couples who:
- They want sessions in the Tatra Mountains, not just with a mountain view
- They come for a short time and don’t want to stress about the weather
- Expect the photographer to take over decisions on the day of the shoot
The session is carried out in one of the following locations:
- Rusinowa Polana
- Kalatówki
- Kasprowy Wierch
The location and exact time of the session are selected several days before the session, taking into account current weather and visibility conditions.
What the package includes:
- Outdoor session in the Tatra National Park
- Flexible choice of location and time a few days before the session
- Plan A / B tailored to conditions
- My decisions on the day of the session to bring it to fruition (possible quick change of plans)
- Downloadable online gallery
- From 50 to 100 photos subjected to author’s processing
Logistics and costs:
- Parking costs on my side
- In the case of the Kasprowy Wierch session:
- train ticket for me I buy on my own
- The ticket for the couple is purchased on its own
- I can help you buy tickets – then the cost of the tickets is added to the price of the session
Bonus:
After the session, I send a few selected images no later than the next business day.
Implementation conditions:
In this package, I take responsibility for proposing the best possible solution on the day of the session. In case of difficult or changeable weather conditions, I present possible options for the session. The final decision to implement the session under the proposed conditions rests with the couple. If the couple decides not to implement the session in the given conditions, the session may be canceled.
Important information:
I carry out sessions mainly on weekdays (Monday-Friday).
The implementation of the session on the weekend is possible by prior arrangement of a free date.
Package no. 3 – Session with full flexibility
This is for couples who have one short trip to the mountains and do not want to risk a failed session.
This package gives you maximum flexibility and confidence that the session will be completed at the best possible time.
The session can be held both outside the Tatra National Park and on its territory, in one of the locations listed in packages No. 1 and No. 2.
PRICE – 3500zł
This package is for couples who:
- They want to have a real say in choosing the day of the session
- They don’t want to make decisions under pressure from the weather
- Expect complete peace of mind and flexibility
What the package includes:
- Outdoor session in a location of your choice (outside TPN or within TPN)
- Booking my availability for 3 days (the day we do the session + 2 reserve days)
- Possibility to carry out the session on the best day among those booked
- Full flexibility in the choice of place and time
- My decisions during the session to prove the result

- From 50 to 100 images subjected to author’s processing

The session is carried out on one day, chosen during the booked three-day period. Booking 3 days means my availability and readiness to execute the session at the best possible time – not a guarantee of perfect weather.

How to prepare for a wedding session in the Tatra Mountains?
The Tatra Mountains are one of the most picturesque places in Poland, perfect for a wedding session. A photo session in the Tatra Mountains does not require special skills or mountain fitness. I work in safe, proven locations, adapted to the season and conditions.
The bottom line is:
- comfortable footwear (even if it will be different in the photos),
- Clothing that fits the temperature and wind,
- An attitude of calmness in the session.
The rest is taken care of by me – from choosing the venue to running the session on the fly.
1. do we have to walk a lot?
Usually not 🙂 I do most of my sessions in locations that are easily accessible, often with car access or a short approach. If the session requires a walk, I always let you know in advance.
I do not do sessions in high mountains or places that require mountain experience.
2 Useful tips for couples choosing a Tatra session.
Match the clothing to the conditions – Especially remember to wear appropriate footwear that is both comfortable and aesthetically pleasing.
Don’t forget drinks and snacks – You can get dehydrated quickly in the mountains, so a bottle of water is a must. Small snacks will also come in handy.
Makeup and hairstyle – Mountain conditions can be fickle – wind, humidity or cooler temperatures have a real impact on your look.
Natural, delicate makeup, tailored to the outdoors and light, rather than studio makeup, works best. Many couples opt for light makeup done by themselves at home, or delicate makeup from a makeup artist, with the outdoors in mind rather than the wedding hall.
Likewise with hairstyles – simple, natural hairstyles can withstand mountain conditions better than elaborate styles.
Relax and have fun – A wedding session is not an exam. Relax, laugh and have fun. A professional photographer will make any person, even the most “unphotogenic”, look great in the photos 🙂
Remember, a wedding session is not only a souvenir, but most of all a good time and moments worth immortalizing in the extraordinary surroundings of the Tatra Mountains. Fall in love with them all over again during your photoshoot!
3. does the session take place in the Tatra National Park?
It depends on the package you choose.
- Package No. 1 – the session takes place outside the Tatra National Park, in places overlooking the Tatra Mountains
- Package no. 2 and 3 – the session can take place in the Tatra National Park (I have the required permits)
The exact locations are described next to each package.
4. what if the weather gets worse?
The rules vary depending on the package:
- Package No. 1
The session is implemented when weather conditions are favorable.
In case of heavy rain, very poor visibility or conditions that prevent safe implementation – the session is canceled. - Package No. 2
A few days before or on the day of the session, I propose the best possible solution.
The final decision to carry out the session under the proposed conditions is up to the couple. - Package No. 3
I reserve my availability for 3 days, which allows you to choose the best possible day to carry out the session.
5. can the session take place in rain or fog?
Yes – if the couple consciously decides to do so and conditions allow for safe implementation.
Sessions in the rain, fog or stronger winds can have a very distinctive atmosphere, but they are never a chore.
Safety is always more important than photos.
6. are you a Tatra guide?
No. I don’t conduct sessions in high mountains or places that require mountain experience.
I carry out sessions in locations that:
- I know,
- I visit regularly,
- allow you to work calmly and safely.
7. On what days are the sessions implemented?
I carry out sessions mainly on weekdays (Monday-Friday).
Weekend sessions are only possible depending on my wedding calendar and date availability.
8. how many photos will we receive and when?
Depending on the package, you get:
- From 50 to 100 photos after author’s processing,
- online gallery download.
- Photos will be ready in 14 working days
Additionally:
- In package #2, I send 2-3 photos by the next business day,
- In package No. 3, the full gallery is ready within a maximum of 3 working days.
9. are they helping to prepare for the session?
Yes, I help with:
- selection of the hour,
- evaluation of conditions,
- general course of the session.
I do not impose styling or “direct” the session – I want it to go naturally and calmly.
